The only problem with fishing in deeper than 33 feet of water, they are probably all dead. The cold snap definitely firmed up the ice and I’d say we have on average 10 plus inches all over the lake. Quite a few ridges out there, most are quiet at the moment, but with the snow they are forecasting that will change also.We were deep, greater than 30 feet of water and that is a big change from the shallow Walleyes and Big Perch that we had been chasing. I am assuming that we will be deep now for the duration of the ice season except for those days that we go for Walleyes!
